<h1>Import Inventory</h1>
<p>Upload CSV or XLSX (maximum 5,000 rows / 8 MB). Every row is validated before any inventory is changed. XLSX imports accept literal values from the first worksheet only; formulas and external links are rejected. PDF invoices are extracted into an editable preview and require an explicit confirmation before import.</p>

<p><strong>Required:</strong> <code>store_id</code> and <code>name</code>. Blank numeric stock/price fields use zero (minimum stock uses 5). A row with any variant column creates or updates that inventory variant; missing variant price, quantity, or active status inherit from its inventory item. Repeat the same store and SKU with identical item values to import multiple distinct variants. PDF extraction requires a configured OpenAI provider and only imports invoice items with explicit quantity and price after review.</p>
